Bar Senior       

Are you a tenacious and hardworking team player, who is patient and willing to go the extra mile?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and cheerful person to join our team of bartenders dedicated to customer service.  As a bar senior, you will report to the Chief Executive Officer and Managers, to assist in ensuring the daily operations of the Club and leading others in the delivery of outstanding customer service is met. You must have previous experience in bar and gaming (TAB, Keno and Pokies). You must have your own transport and drivers license.

 

Requirements:

      • Age 21+
      • Current RSA
      • Current RCG
      • First Aid certificate

Must be available weekends, nights and public holidays (varying hours)

General Roles include, but are not limited to:

  • Team leadership
  • Supervision of employees – leading and motivating the team to ensure jobs are carried out properly and efficiently
  • Effective communication with management and co-workers
  • Assisting with functions
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Overseeing open and close shifts
  • Training junior and new staff members
  • General Bartending roles, preparing and serving drinks
  • Making cocktails
  • Preparation of garnishes and stock
  • Operating Keno, Tab and IGT gaming systems
  • Cash handling – proficient in the use of cash handling systems as well as good numeracy skills
  • Daily co-ordination of the Clubs activities
  • High level of organization – we often run a lot of events, from live music, functions and parties and a high level of organisation is required to ensure everything runs smoothly and staff are aware of what they need to be doing
  • Up-to-date awareness of upcoming club events and changes to policies including any posts within RSL staff Facebook Group
  • Relationship building with members and guests
  • Delivery of high calibre customer service
  • Answering phones
  • Knowledge of WHS practices
  • A sound knowledge of all industry legislation and compliance requirements in conjunction with an aptitude for operational awareness
  • Responsible and mature

Bartender

Bartending may be for you!

We are looking for enthusiastic and cheerful people to join our team of bartenders dedicated to customer service.  As a bar attendant, you will report to all senior levels of staff and managers, to assist in ensuring the daily operations of the Club and working together with other team members to deliver outstanding customer service. You must have your own transport and/or drivers license.

Requirements:

  • Age 18+
  • Current RSA
  • Current RCG
  • First Aid certificate (not necessary but will be required for any promotion opportunities)

Must be available weekends, nights and public holidays (varying hours)

We are excited to be seeking new team members to join our dynamic team at Glenorie RSL Bistro.

We are a boutique RSL club located in the Hills area in north-west Sydney, set in a scenic bush setting.

We offer a high-quality yet relaxed dining experience in a family-friendly setting.

Trade qualified

Be organized, able to multi-task and work well under pressure

Possess a positive and professional attitude

Have good personal presentation standards

Be willing to work weekends, with the flexibility to work nights and public holidays, with no early starts and late finishes.

Kitchen Hand / Waitress / Waiter       

We have multiple positions in our busy bistro for floor and kitchen staff. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be flexible, motivated, well presented, and have great customer service skills. You will need to work well in a team and be available for a variety of weekend and evening shifts. Own transport is essential.

Position can be either casual or full-time, with remuneration based on experience.
